The plant can treat all wastewater from home appliances, such as showers, sinks, dishwashers, washing machines, and bathroom waste. At the same time it gives you water for irrigation systems, which is FREE!
The plant can even be installed after your home has been built by using the existing septic tank.
The size of the whole plant is 4m x 1.50m x 1.50m - this is the size of the hole that would be needed. It is buried in the ground so that it cannot be seen.
All wastewater is then piped into the top of the tank and all solids sink to the bottom, where they are naturally broken down by bacteria.
The water is then passed through 3 filters to be cleaned, while a pipe gets rid of the gas (methane) that forms during the process. The filters have a life of about 10 to 15 years and can be cleaned as needed.
The water is then passed into pipes that have a float system to control the flow, and then passed into the last tank, which holds the water until needed. Chlorine tablets are added to this tank to kill off any bacteria (just like in a swimming pool).
This last tank has a pump submersed inside that pumps the water out into the irrigation system of your home.
