Psaltas Hydrosolutions Limited (HydroSolutions) is a diverse company that has invested heavily, over the past few years, in the research and development of all types of water conservation and processing, including desalination, filtration, purification, and waste water treatment. Such research includes feasibility studies and trials in Cyprus, Europe, and the Middle East.

Our C.E.O. was part of the research carried out at L.S.B.U. U.K. (potential application of a flash-type barometric desalination plant powered by waste head from electricity power stations in Cyprus during 2006, flash-type barometric desalination plant powered by waste head from electricity power stations in Cyprus during 2007).

HydroSolutions is presently involved with the desalination research being carried out in collaboration with the University of Surrey in the U.K. and the Higher Technical Institute of Nicosia in Cyprus (on hybrid co-generation desalination processes).

HydroSolutions has carried out various feasibility investigation studies in relation to commercial industrial desalination systems.

HydroSolutions has also carried out studies in to the overall feasibility of desalination in Cyprus, Europe, and the Middle East.

Aristo Developers, one of the biggest in Cyprus, is one of our prime clients and we, at HydroSolutions, have been their trusted consultants for their upcoming underground desalination system.

Currently, HydroSolutions is in the process of setting up facilities for commercial industrial desalination plants and waste water treatment plants, with plant capacities ranging from 50 gallons per day up to 1 million gallons per day.

With this, we will be the only desalination company with the potential for overall desalination solutions in our region.

Michael Psaltas, Dip. Refrigeration Engineering, BEng. Mechanical & Building Services, PhD Researcher (Desalination Industry), is the C.E.O. of Psaltas Hydrosolutions Limited, and it is his vision to see increased and wide-spread use of water-based processes, such as water desalination, which are paramount to water conservation in Cyprus, Europe, and the Middle East.

All of the HydroSolutions personnel are highly qualified, motivated, experienced, and dedicated professionals who have made their marks in the corporate sector.

The retail side of the company, which includes sales personnel, engineers, and shops in key towns throughout Cyprus, provides filtration, purification, and waste water treatment products, all advised on, and fitted, by highly trained engineers, to both the domestic and the commercial markets.
